SHOP BLADES What is it like working in the Harry’s Eisfeld factory? ANDREAS I joined the Harry’s team because I was intrigued by the founders’ story. We combine American start-up culture with German manufacturing and making our blades is still as exciting as when I first arrived. Our blades are made using a ‘gothic arch’ structure — why is that? ANDREAS The gothic arch design is unique to Harry’s, because it was developed right here in Eisfeld! ALFRED Andreas is right! The gothic arch method makes the blade stable yet sharp — so it combines the two best practices in blade-making. In your opinion, what makes the Harry’s blades so great? ALFRED I love the stylish simplicity of our blades. Our production expertise keeps us at the forefront, and our amazing assembly line workers, developers and quality managers put a lot of love into our cartridges. What’s your secret to a clean shave? ANDREAS I have a beard! But I still use the precision trimmer to keep things in check.
